Thought I'd end the decade with a few randoms I found. I especially love the Twilight movie still. It looks like Edward Cullen has sprouted little angel wings, but its actually just the taxidermy owl behind him, I think.

Happy whatever-you-celebrate, hope you got everything you wished and hoped for! I actually didn't ask for anything material because I'm wishing for a miracle this year. One of my closest and dearest friends is very sick and I just want her to be healthy again. Please pray for her.

bleached hairs

A few weeks ago, on a complete whim, Lisa and I decided to make full use of Chris's leftover Manic Panic flash lightning. 50 minutes later, I had bleached a small chunk of my hair. It's hardly noticeable with my hair down (in the second photo its the few lighter strands on the bottom right). It makes me feel slightly rebellious, though I have no idea why.

This week has been crazy. I haven't been to bed before 2:30 AM this entire week. I have no idea why I am awake right now. I guess I am just trying to savor every part of this weekend by staying awake for it? I know I am making a lot of sense right now...

Oh and today I watched the Dog Whisperer show for the first time ever. I don't have cable at home. But I realized I can not wait until I become a "pack leader" and teach my pup how to respect me. Good night, world.

Blooming tea and seaweed. I've been neglecting the blog because there always seems to be something else to do and somewhere else to be. However, my discovery last night of the full-length mirrors in the dorm bathrooms lead to a quick, vain photoshoot. Being at uni has also made me kind of criminal, I stole my friend's black flats.

Ordered a few more of these bullet pendants on Ebay. They are cheap! What's really cool about this one is that you can screw the cap off and it's hollow inside. You could easily store a gram of um, something...

Studs are still bangin' and all, but I think grommets deserve some recognition too. I mean, they do show more skin, hah.

Tomorrow is move-in day so I need to put the finishing touches on my b2s packing. I use this black storage locker that I ordered from Wallyworld. It's superb. My brother keeps saying it looks like I'm rolling (note: it has wheels!) around heavy artillery or something, like in the movies.

mint chocolate kiss cupcake

Minty fresh! These are mint chocolate kiss cupcakes. They contain a generous dose of peppermint extract, tons of crushed mint Oreos, a bit of green food coloring, and a "surprise" Hershey's milk chocolate kiss center. And the combination is divine, they taste like mint chocolate chip ice cream cake when you freeze them. Super fun to make, too.

I am in a serious cupcake-baking frenzy right now; don't know what it is. I like the idea of reinventing classic foods/drinks and channeling them into a cupcake recipe. How do piña colada cupcakes sound? Caramel apple? Strawberry cheesecake? They will become reality. Ahem, in the not-so-distant future...

cool streets

Cool streets is right. There's a point where all the black leather on top of black leather on top of more black leather, pyramid studs, ratty t-shirts, sequins/glitter, body con and layers upon layers of chains gets to be absolute overkill when thrown on all together. People should realize this. This editorial is a prime example of how moderation is sometimes greater than excess.

In other news, I'm gearing up to move back into my dorm and get back into student mode. Trying to get educated here. Wish me luck...?
